Adrienne Raphel is a writer whose scholarly interests include the history of the language, poetry, and 20th and 21st century literature. Raphel's most recent book, Thinking Inside the Box, is about the historical, psychological, economic, and anthropological phenomenon that is the crossword puzzle.
