Bio/Description

Anna Grant studies the ancient Greek and Roman worlds, focusing on the relationship between literature and social structures such as education, law, and religion. Currently, she's researching how Romans thought about quoting as a way to display intellectual and moral authority (or sometimes, to reveal someone’s lack of it). Her interest in communities of knowledge extends to the modern day, where she promotes social writing and research processes in the college classroom and beyond.
