Jordan Reed focuses on the history of American higher education and textbooks, specifically the authorship of university-level American history textbooks in the twentieth century. His writing has appeared in academic journals, including The History Teacher, Book History, and The Journal of Inclusive Scholarship and Pedagogy. He is also the co-editor of The Reimagined PhD: Navigating 21^st Century Humanities Education, published in 2021 by Rutgers University Press. He is also the Associate Director for Transfer Programs in the Emma Bloomberg Center for Access & Opportunity.
