Katelyn Randazzo is a materials science researcher interested in the intersection of science, culture, and storytelling. Her research explores anomalous behaviors of polymer chains in confined or interfacial spaces, with a focus on how these findings may be leveraged to improve our fundamental understanding of polymer physics, develop valuable material properties, and lower the environmental impact of plastics. Her broader interests include interactions among collaborators and rivals to produce scientific advancements, archeology as a lens for interrogating our cultural values, and musical theater.
