Soo-Young Kim is an anthropologist who studies the relationship between the economy and the future. She has examined this relationship through ethnographic fieldwork on economic statistics, debt, insurance, taxes, and real estate in Greece. Her teaching and research explore class, inequity, identity and nation-making in modern Greece, and radical and liberatory forms of education.
