Princeton Graduate Students: Make the most of your summer with our Dissertation Boot Camp, which is here to help you develop and maintain healthy writing practices. This is all the more important during the summer months, since, for many graduate students, this period is relatively unstructured. All the central elements of a productive Boot Camp—space to write, focused writing time, camaraderie, and the opportunity to reflect on the writing process—are available to you in a virtual format. Build and maintain momentum by developing and refining healthy habits and practices around work and writing with colleagues from across the disciplines.Dissertation Boot Camp runs over the course of one week and is typically offered four times per year: in October, during Fall Break; in January, usually during the week preceding Wintersession; in March, during Spring Break; and once during the summer in either June or July.Weekly ScheduleThe Summer 2024 Dissertation Boot Camp will run in a virtual format from Monday, June 24 through Friday, June 28. The launch and plenary debrief sessions are required, plus participation in at least 5 of the 8 writing sessions & debriefs.MondayJune 24TuesdayJune 25WednesdayJune 26ThursdayJune 27FridayJune 2810 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. ETLaunch Session: Goals, Schedule, and Working from Home (Required)2 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. ETWriting Session & Debrief10 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. ETWriting Session & Debrief2 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. ETWriting Session & Debrief10 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. ETWriting Session & Debrief2 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. ETWriting Session & Debrief10 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. ETWriting Session & Debrief2 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. ETWriting Session & Debrief10 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. ETWriting Session & Debrief2 p.m. - 3:15 p.m. ETPlenary Debrief Session (Required)ApplicationEnrollment in Dissertation Boot Camp is limited.
